Share In The Mission

There are many ways you can share in the work of the missions with the Comboni Missionaries!

We are involved at the grassroots and at the frontiers of the Church in the world. The Comboni Priests, Brothers, Sisters and Lay Missionaries are deeply engaged in Christian Evangelization, Social Development and Human Promotion of the peoples among whom we live and work.

Pray for the missionaries! The Comboni Missionaries need your prayers. Many missionaries are in difficult situations of war, poverty, violence, disease.  God has called the MCCJ to live with and serve the poorest and most abandoned of his people. Your prayers give them courage and strength for their journey. Pray for the people they serve that they will find hope and comfort in the presence of the missionaries. Join with the Comboni Missionaries and their friends around the world to pray the Monthly Mission Prayer Intention.

You can share in the mission by becoming our mission partner through the Comboni Lay Missionary Program, by supporting specific Mission Projects in need of funding, by Volunteering at one of our Mission Promotion Centers, by becoming a Prayer Partner and by making a Donation in support of our work.

Also, tell others about the Comboni Missionaries, God has called all of us to be evangelizers and to participate in the missionary work of the church.  Invite a missionary to speak to your social justice, youth or other parish group about the Church’s mission; Share what you learn about the people, places and cultures where the Comboni Missionaries serve by offering our informative Comboni Newsletter to friends, family and parish members.
